How natural burial creates bonds between people and the planet

Published: May 12, 2023

Dr. Billy Campbell, along with his wife Kimberley, founded the first natural burial conservation cemetery in the United States: Ramsey Creek Preserve in Westminster, South Carolina.

In this discussion, Billy talks about how “to create a connection between the natural community and humans it’s important not to just save the land, but create transgenerational bonds between land and people.” Natural and conservation burial allows us to do just that.

At Vermont Forest Cemetery, our focus is on the life of the land in the 22nd Century and beyond.
